1,48000 Pakistani pilgrims reach Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj

51000 pilgrims of government Hajj scheme have reached Makkah after visiting Madina Munawara.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – One lac and forty eight thousand pilgrims from Pakistan have arrived at Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj. 105000 pilgrims reached Saudi Arabia under government Hajj scheme while others availed private Hajj scheme.

51000 pilgrims of government Hajj scheme have reached Makkah after visiting Madina Munawara while 8000 are still in Madina.

A total of 96000 pilgrims have arrived in Makkah under government Hajj scheme. The Hajj flight operation will continue till August 6.

Seasonal staff, Hajj medical mission and helpers of ministry of religious affairs are guiding the pilgrims. The monitoring teams of ministry are monitoring private schemes too. Haram Guiders are there to help the pilgrims reach their hotels in case they forget the rout. 9 dispensaries and a 40 bed central hospital is proving facilities to pilgrims.

Wheel chair is available for old pilgrims while 24 hour emergency help line is also active in case of disaster.
