Two killed, 25 injured in Quetta blast
The explosion also damaged at least five nearby shops and a car.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – At least two people were killed and 25 others were wounded in a blast at Shabbir Jan Stop area near Eastern Bypass in Quetta of Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
Security forces personnel reached the spot after the blast and cordoned off the area and shifted the dead and injured to Civil Hospital, Quetta. Hospital sources said that one of the deceased was identified as Manzoor Ahmed.
According to bomb disposal squad, two to three kilograms of explosive material which was planted on a bicycle was used in the blast. The explosion also damaged at least five nearby shops and a vehicle.
