Pentagon released five videos of Osama Bin Laden living in his compound in Abbottabad.

All the videos have been released without audio by the Pentagon. In the videos, Osama is shown watching television and recording video messages. The Pentagon said that Osama’s compound in Abbottabad was the command and control centre for Al-Qaeda. In the first of five videos released by the Pentagon, Osama Bin Laden is shown recording a message. In the second video, Osama is watching his own recorded video message on television. In the same video, Osama is shown with a remote in his hand watching President Obama on television. He wearing a warm hat and is wrapped in a shawl. There are also two televisions in the room. Osama’s face is not visible in the video but the view from the side shows his white beard. In the third video, he is shown recording a message while in the fourth video he is also recording a message but upon stuttering he stops and after directions by the cameraman, he starts again. Likewise Osama is again recoding a message in the fifth video.US defence officials said that in the Abbottabad operation, the US commandos recovered significant evidence. These videos were also among the evidence that was recovered. A pentagon official said that from the evidence recovered, the US concluded that Osama Bin Laden was an active leader of Al Qaeda.
