All assets made through plundering public money would be confiscated: SAPM

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on accountability Mirza Shehzad Akbar on Monday challenged former Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif to face him in courts if the report of Daily Mail is not true. Mirza said he will provide every proof in the courts.

While showing the receipts during a presser in federal capital, he expressed that all stories of money laundering have surfaced now. He said 95% of assets of Hamza Shehbaz were made by fake TTs, adding that the all assets made through plundering public money would be confiscated.

He said an old picture during the election campaign was shown in response to Daily Mail’s story unearthing how Shehbaz Sharif looted aid money. Shehzad said he is being alleged of planting a story against Sharif family.

He said more fake companies would be revealed in coming days, adding that looted money would be recovered and assets made through plundering public money would be confiscated.

Shahbaz Sharif decides to file law suit against Daily Mail

SAPM said Sharif family did not respond to stories of TTs in which Hamza is arrested where as Suleman is absconder. He said more evidences would be brought to light once further investigation into Sharif family’s assets starts.

He said Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday claimed to file lawsuit against me and British reporter. He said I challenge Shehbaz to file case against me in London, adding that every TT would be presented in the court.

Earlier today, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) decided to freeze properties of Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif in illegal assets case.

The decision came day after Britain-based publication Daily Mail exposed an alleged money launderingscandal of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif from the UK government aid for earthquake victims in Pakistan.

According to a confidential investigation report seen by Daily Mail, millions of pounds were transferred into the bank accounts of Shehbaz’s family members, including his wife, children and a son-in-law.
