Gul cargo train leaves for Istanbul

The first Gul cargo train left for Istanbul with 12 containers from the Lahore dry port.

According to Railway officials, the Gul cargo train would arrive in the Turkish city of Istanbul via Iran on the 11-day journey.The Railway officials also said that more cargo trains would be run in the future. The Gul train has been named after the Turkish President Abdullah Gul as goodwill gesture.
