Govt not linked with Sanaullah's arrest: Firdous
She said the PMLN wanted to use the arrest of Rana Sanaullah as political point scoring.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Advisor to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah has been arrested by the Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF) and he will be presented before an anti-narcotics court on Tuesday.
In a video message, she said the ANF has detained him on authentic information that his vehicle was containing drugs worth Rs150 to 200 million.
“No one in the country is beyond the Constitution in Naya Pakistan,” she said, adding that the ANF is an independent institution and there was no link of the government with his detention.
She said the PMLN wanted to use the arrest of Rana Sanaullah as political point scoring.
