Firdous terms COAS's statement a ray of hope
The government is determined to put the countrys economy on track.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Friday said that the statement of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has emerged as an ray of hope.
Reacting to the statement of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, she said that civil-military leadership is on the same page for the first time in the history of the country for the nation’s development.
The SAPM said that the country’s leadership has to lead the nation in fight against the challenges facing the nation.
Firdous went on to say that the nation is going through difficult economic conditions and the country is facing many challenges.
“The COAS said in his statement that difficult decisions have to be taken for the country’s betterment,” she said and added Prime Minister Imran Khan also took the nation in confidence yesterday.
“The government is determined to put the country’s economy on track,” she added.
Earlier in her tweet, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that credit of turning tax recovery process into a national movement goes to Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
The special assistant said, “It is Imran Khan who has taken the practical step to put the country on the path of self-reliance. This is called patriotism.”
She asked nation to wage a struggle to steer the country out of current problems.
Dr Firdous said that the Prime Minister has taken bold decisions keeping in view the national interests. Bright future will be our destination if we manage to pass through the crisis with courage and stability, she added.
