US forces kill Osama, son and wife

His son was also killed in an operation which was completed in 40 minutes. In a press conference the US president revealed that Osama was hiding in Abbotabad locality named Bilal Town. Four US helicopters launched the operation at 1.45 am. In the operation along with Osama, his son, a woman and two men were also killed and two women were reportedly injured. Certain reports suggested the dead women was Osama’s wife. UK media claimed that after being surrounded, Osama offered to hand himself over to them but was killed, according to US officials, while offering resistance.Osama and his family was living about 8 hundred meters away from Kakul Academy Abbotabad. Helicopters were parked outside the building and men who came out of them conversed in Pashto with the local people. Residents of the area were asked to put off their lights and stay at homes. One helicopter crashed in the compound of the building. People heard shots and explosions and after some time Osama Bin Ladin’s body was taken away.
