Changing ministers comes under PM's discretionary power: Fawad Chaudhry

Fawad Chaudhry said that there is no reality in the news regarding change of ministers.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry on Monday has said that changing ministers comes under Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s discretionary power.

In a twitter post, Fawad Chaudhry said that there is no reality in the news regarding change of ministers. Media should play responsible role in this regard, he added.

The minister said Pakistan is passing through an important phase and such kind of speculations will not be in country’s interest.

Earlier while addressing a summit in Islamabad, Fawad Chaudhry expressed the confidence that China and Pakistan together will emerge as big players in the field of technology.

The Information Minister pointed out that Pakistan and China have always remained great friends. He said that future belongs to technology and Pakistan has to embrace modern technology to move forward and keep pace with the world.

Fawad said we have to support our technology companies and facilitate our youth to acquire scientific and technological education.

The Information Minister recalled that there was a time when Pakistan used to locally manufacture transmitters and radio equipment but now everything is being imported.
