LAHORE (Dunya News) – Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz will appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday (today).
The anti-corruption watchdog has accused Hamza Shahbaz of building a drain to facilitate his sugar mill using the public money in Chiniot.
The opposition leader in Punjab has been summoned by the NAB in money laundering and Ramzan Sugar Mills cases on Tuesday. Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif’s wife and daughters have also been directed by the anti-corruption watchdog to appear before the bureau.
Let it be known that Hamza Shahbaz turned up before the NAB on April 12 in money laundering and assets beyond income cases. The NAB sources claimed that the PML-N leader did not submit complete record.
Hamza Shahbaz has already been granted bail by the Lahore High Court (LHC) in Ramzan Sugar Mills and Saaf Pani (clean water) cases till April 17.
