K-Electric system failure results in power outages.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The K-Electric system crashed and people spent the Sunday night without power in different areas of Karachi, reported Dunya News.
Dust-storm disrupted the power supply and uprooted trees and poles. Two minors died and three persons sustained injuries in different occurrences. The weather also affected the communication system.
Electricity loadshedding for hours has become a routine in the Quaid’s city. On the other hand, cool winds made the weather pleasant and a spell of drizzling has also started. The Met Office has predicted rain with lightning on Tuesday.
