Police, security forces and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the wounded to a hospital

QUETTA (Dunya News) – At least four police personnel were sustained injuries on Monday in a bomb blast in Quetta’s Hazar Ganji area.

As per the details, an explosive devise planted in a motorcycle hit a police vehicle when it was patrolling in Hazar Ganji area of the provincial capital, resultantly, four police personnel received severe injuries and damaged the vehicle.

Police, security forces and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the wounded to a hospital in for medical assistance.

The law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and launched investigation into the incident.

The blast which was heard miles away from the site had destroyed the vehicle completely. An improvised explosive device was planted at a motorbike and it was detonated with a remote-controlled device.

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal while condemning the incident expressed grief over the injured police personnel.

The chief minister also directed the law enforcement agencies to make foolproof security arrangements in the city.
