Pakistan wants peace, not war, says Nawaz Sharif.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) supremo and incarcerated former premier Nawaz Sharif has on Thursday said that Pakistan wants peace, not war.

While talking to party leaders at Kot Lakhpat Jail, Nawaz Sharif said India will face strong retaliation from Pakistan in future as well in case of any aggression and affirmed that all political parties are supporting Pakistan Army.

“We as a nation possess full capability to defend our country,” he pronounced.

Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz, mother Shamim Begum and other party leaders visited him on the meeting day.

PMLN leader Talal Chaudhry said all political forces are united at the moment to defend Pakistan. Pakistan has already won the military battle and it is now time to conquer the diplomatic front, he added.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz workers – gathered outside Kot Lakhpat Jail – chanted slogans in favor of Pakistan Army.
