Intl community urged to take notice of Indian aggression against Pakistan
Maleeha Lodhi said India has no justification to commit an act of aggression.
(Web Desk) – Pakistan s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi on Wednesday urged the international community to take notice of the Indian aggression against Pakistan.
In an interview with BBC, she said Indian aggression is sheer violation of UN Charter and International Law and it has put the regional peace and security at stake.
Maleeha Lodhi said India has no justification to commit an act of aggression.
She said that she has delivered a letter of Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on the current situation to the UN Secretary General and the Security Council.
To a question, the permanent representative said that India s denial to the right of self-determination is the root cause of violence in occupied Kashmir.
“Pakistan has called for peaceful resolution of the dispute,” she said.
