Sahiwal tragedy: Protesters again block Ferozepur Road
Long queues of vehicles were witnessed.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The family and friends of Sahiwal victims once again staged a protest demonstration on Ferozepur Road near Chungi Amar Sidhu pressing for speedy justice.
The protesters blocked both sides of the Ferozpur Road for every kind of traffic and chanted slogans against the government.
A large number of protestors also stopped the traffic flow. As a result, traffic came to a halt on Ferozepur Road and its linking arteries. Long queues of vehicles were witnessed.
According to Traffic Police spokesperson, traffic was being diverted to Waltan Road, Punjab Society and Ring Road.
The spokesperson said that the traffic coming from Kasur to Lahore was being diverted to Rohi Nala from Gajjumatta and to Peco Road from Kacha Jail Road.
He appealed the citizens to prefer Ring Road to travel to Kasur and Lahore.
