Pakistan and the United States held strategic dialogues in Washington. A working group meeting on economy and finance was also held in which self dependency and employment opportunities were discussed. In the meeting, the US appreciated the efforts made by Pakistan in revenue collection and controlling the loss. It was told in the meeting that the US will help Pakistan in the health, education and energy sectors. The United States would also provide US$ 190 million for the rehabilitation of the flood hit areas.
