Intelligence agencies are working in countrys interest, says Gilani.

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said that he had talked to the US Speaker John Boehner regarding drone attacks. He stated that drone attacks were helping the terrorists, therefore, the attacks should be stopped.Addressing the National Assembly, Gilani said that the government had demanded to transfer drone technology to Pakistan. He maintained that political and military leadership are united in the country’s interest. He said that Pakistan wanted a peaceful and financially strong Afghanistan, adding that they had supported peaceful dialogues in Afghanistan. He said that dialogues were the only way to resolve the problems.He stated that US success depends on Pakistan’s success. He maintained that intelligence agencies were working for country’s interest and we should not doubt their intensions.
