Cylinder explosion in a cold storage in Dipalpur killed at least two labourers and wounded two other
DIPALPUR (Dunya News) – At least two labourers were killed and two other sustained burn injuries when fire broke out after a cylinder explosion in a cold storage in Sattar Colony area of Dipalpur on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, labourers were working at the cold storage when a cylinder exploded during welding. Fire erupted at the cold storage after cylinder explosion, killing two labourers and injuring two other. The deceased were identified as Muhammad Amir and Mukhtar Ahmad.
Three fire brigade vehicles and rescue teams reached the spot and brought the fire under control. Rescue teams shifted the dead and injured to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.
