Islamabad: Two suspected French militants arrested

Two suspected French militants have been arrested from Islamabad.

According to French and Pakistani sources, both the French nationals were arrested for suspected links to an international terrorist organisation.The two are suspected of being part of the group responsible for the bloody attacks in Indonesian city Bali in 2002 that killed 202 people.The terror group is the one allegedly connected to Indonesian Umar Patek, who was himself arrested recently in Pakistan.France has asked the Pakistani authorities for permission to visit the two detainees.
