Fawad Hassan Fawad ready to discuss plea bargain with NAB
Fawad Hassan Fawad's family member approached NAB to discuss the condition for plea bargain.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz Supremo and former prime minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif s principal secretary has inclined to plea bargain with National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
According to the sources, Fawad Hassan Fawad, who was arrested by NAB in assets beyond the means case, could not present ample evidence before anti-graft watchdog.
However, Fawad Hassan Fawad s family member approached NAB to discuss the condition for plea bargain and amount due to be paid.
"Keeping in mind the value of the assets which are not compatible with the income sources, NAB determines the amount of plea-bargain and its approval is taken from the executive board" NAB responded to his family.
On July 5, Fawad was arrested by NAB for his alleged involvement in the Rs14 billion Ashiana-i-Iqbal Housing Scheme scam.
