Banned outfits behind Karachi terror activities: Sindh CM

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Lashkar-e-Balochistan and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were involved in terror activities in Karachi. Talking to the media after a meeting in the Chief Minister’s House in Karachi, the CM said that the administration had been given a free hand to eliminate criminal activities in Karachi and action would be taken against every member of any religious organisation found involved in target killing. The CM said that 125 people had fallen prey to target killing this year. He urged the political parties not to interfere in security matters if they wanted to make Karachi a crime-free city. He said that population census would be made transparent.
