Temperatures drops as showers continue in parts of country

The Meteorological Department of Pakistan has predicted more rains during the next 24 hours.

In the past 24 hours, light showers continued in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, north-eastern Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. As the temperatures dropped, the weather turned pleasant. On the other hand, a cold wave dropped the temperatures in Quetta as a hailstorm was reported. According to the Meteorological Department of Pakistan, highest rainfall was recorded in Mallam Jabba at 44 millimetres. In Sargodha, 22 millimetre rain was recorded while Murree and Quetta recorded 20 millimetre of rain each. The lowest temperature was recorded in Kalam at -1 degree centigrade while the highest temperature was recorded in Hyderabad at 38 degree centigrade. In the next 24 hours, the Met Office has predicted light thunderstorms followed by rain in northern Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, north eastern Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
