Malook had termed the agreement between TLP and federal govt merely a piece of paper.

(Roznama Dunya) – Saiful Malook—who represented Asia Bibi in blasphemy case—has claimed that United Nations and European Union have forced him to leave the country against his wishes citing threats to his life.

Malook further claimed that both UN and EU had informed him that he was the ‘prime target’.

Malook fled to Netherlands after eruption of mass protests by the religiopolitical party against acquittal of Asia Bibi.

“I contacted officials of UN after violence erupted. They kept me for three days and then put me on a plane against my wishes,” the lawyer was quoted as saying in Hague.

Before departing abroad, Malook had termed the agreement between TLP and federal govt ‘merely a piece of paper’.
