Federal Cabinet appoints air vice-marshal Arshad Khan as PIA chairman

Khan has also received Pakistans highest civilian award Hilal-e-Imtiaz.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Cabinet on Thursday approved appointment of former air vice-marshal Arshad Khan as new chairman of crisis-riddled Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

As per details garnered, Khan joined Pakistan Air Force in 1972 whereas he obtained commissioned as fighter pilot in 1983. He had obtained education from National Defence University whereas he also travelled to United States and got enrolled in Command and Staff College.

Khan has also received Pakistan’s highest civilian award Hilal-e-Imtiaz.
