PM Imran held separate meetings with Balochistan CM and Governor

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday reached Quetta to brief the premier over security situation in Balochistan at Headquarters Southern Command.

In a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the ISPR Director General said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will be briefed today on security situation of Balochistan at Headquarters southern command.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan had arrived in Quetta on his first visit to Balochistan after assuming the office.

The premier was welcomed by Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan at Quetta airport on his arrival.

During the visit, Prime Minister Imran Khan held separate meetings with Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Jam Kamal Khan and Balochistan Governor Amanullah Khan.

PM—in meetings with CM and governor—reviewed overall security situation and ongoing uplift projects in the province.

On the occasion the prime minister assured CM that no stone will be left unturned for the uplift of Pakistan’s biggest province [in terms of area].
