ISPR DG says Rana Mashhood's statement 'detrimental to stability'

(Dunya News) – Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Major General Asif Ghafoor on Tuesday termed statement issued by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Mashhood ‘baseless and regrettable’.
ISPR DG issued statement on popular micro-blogging website Twitter.
He said. “Attribution of an obvious vested statement by Rana Mashhood is baseless and regrettable. Such irresponsible expressions are detrimental to stability in the country”.

Rana Mashhood Ahmad opened a new Pandora’s box as he claimed that PML-N has sorted out matters with establishment.
He made these remarks in an interview with a private news channel.
Mashhood added that Hamza Shehbaz would be PML-N’s candidate for Punjab Chief Minister (CM).
He said, “I’m not talking about any deal. Establishment has always accepted Shehbaz Sharif”.
“Matters aren’t going as planned. If things continue to run in the same fashion, then PML-N will form govt in Punjab in the next two months”, stated Mashhood.
Mashhood was all praise for former Punjab CM and incumbent PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif. He said, “Shehbaz Sharif has played key role in resolving the matters”.
