Kamoke: Six injured as petrol shop catches fire

At least six people were injured in a blaze at a petrol shop in Kamoke on Friday.

KAMOKE (Dunya News) – At least six people were injured in a blaze at a petrol shop in Darwaishpura area of Kamoke on Friday night, Dunya News reported.

According to details, fire broke out at a petrol shop situated Darwaishpura area of Kamoke during unloading of petrol from an oil tanker. The fire engulfed the shop and a nearby house which resulted in burn injuries to six people.

Police and fire brigade teams reached to spot and brought the blaze under control after a hectic effort of two hours. Five fire brigade vehicles took part in the operation.

The injured were shifted to Lahore in critical condition. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
