Death toll reaches 50 in Sakhi Sarwar shrine bombing

The death toll in the suicide blasts at the shrine of Syed Ahmad Sakhi Sarwar rose to 49 on Monday.

Seven among the dead were the residents of Dera Ghazi Khan and their funeral prayer would be offered today. The bombing occurred on Sunday and left at least 86 people injured. 12 minor injured were discharged from the hospital but many others were said to be in critical condition.The list of the deceased was posted at the Dera Ghazi Khan District Headquarters Hospital. The bodies of the victims will be sent to their respective areas. Police are raiding various places to arrest the bombing suspects.
