YDA protests in parts of country against harassment of lady doctor
The doctors urged to take action against the incident and order inquiry.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Young Doctors Association (YDA) on Saturday has staged protest in parts of the country against sexual harassment of lady doctor at Shaikh Zayed Hospital.
The protesters closed OPDS of various hospitals in Faisalabad, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan. They said that the protest will continue until government fulfills their demands.
The doctors also urged to take action against the incident and order inquiry.
Meanwhile, YDA president asked the local administrations to beef up security of the doctors so that they can fearlessly do their work.
On the other hand, the protest has created immense difficulties for the patients coming to the hospital from far flung areas.
