BZU suspends 15 for thrashing student in campus

MULTAN (Dunya News) – Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) administration on Tuesday has suspended 15 students involved in brutally thrashing a student at university campus.

According to details, the suspended students will appear before disciplinary committee to present their stance.

The management has requested the security officers to form check post inside the university premises for the prevention of such incidents.

Meanwhile, report of the incident has also been forwarded to Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar and Governor Chaudhry Sarwar.

Earlier, police had lodged case against 23 students and launched raids at the university hostels on Punjab governor’s directives.

It is to be mentioned here that a group of students badly thrashed a student, belonging to Balochistan, in the university.

Afterwards, Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar took notice of the incident and asked local authorities to present him with a report.
