NAB attains important record of Orange Line, Metro Bus project in probe against Ahad Cheema

LAHORE (Dunya News) – National Accoutability Bureau (NAB) Lahore has attained important record of Orange Line train, Metro and Rawalpindi Bus project in a probe against Lahore Development Authority’s (LDA) former director general Ahad Khan Cheema in the Ashiana-i-Iqbal Housing Scheme scam.
NAB had written letter to Mass Transit Authority’s General Manager for the provision of record.
The bureau has received the documentary evidence of certified audit objections regarding mega projects.
Case against Ahad Cheema and other suspects will be taken forward after reviewing the reports.
The Lahore Metro bus project was completed in the era of Cheema while he also played a pivotal role in Orange Line project.
Chairman NAB has also ordered an inquiry into Orange Line project scam.
