Desecration of Holy Quran by the pastor has hurt the feelings of the Muslim Ummah, says JI chief.

Jamaat e Islami held a rally in Islamabad against the desecration of the Holy Quran, release of Raymond Davis and drone attacks.Addressing the participants, Jamaat e Islami Chief Syed Munawwar Hasan said that the desecration of the Holy Quran by the pastor has hurt the feelings of the Muslim Ummah. He said that Punjab government, ISI and federal government were involved in releasing of US citizen Raymond Davis. He maintained that Zardari, Gilani and Kayani were befooling the nation. He urged the government to hold a meeting regarding the amendments in blasphemy laws. He also said that the government should protest against desecration of the Holy Quran and drone attacks.
