Pakistanis in Libya crossing border by road

A large number of Pakistanis in Libya are reaching Tunisia by road to get a flight to Pakistan.

As Libya was declared a no-fly zone by the United Nations (UN), Pakistani expats there were moving towards Egypt, Algeria and Tunisia so that they could get on board to fly back to Pakistan.Two 42-seater buses crossed Libyan-Tunisian border on Saturday and dropped Pakistani expats at the airport. According to the Foreign Office, Pakistanis in every Libyan city have been informed that arrangements for their repatriation are being done. Three buses carrying Pakistanis are reaching Tunisia on Sunday.The spokesman of Pakistani Embassy in Tripoli said that Pakistanis were also being sent back via Egypt and Algeria.
