Tandu Allahyar: 11 schoolchildren, two teachers injured as van overturns
At least 24 students and two teachers were in the van at the time of the accident.
TANDU ALLAHYAR (Dunya News) – At least 11 schoolchildren and two teachers were wounded when a van overturned at the Hyderabad Road in Kirya Shakh area near Tandu Allahyar on Monday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, a van bringing back schoolchildren of village Dhingana Bhargari High School from picnic in Thatta hit a footpath while taking a sharp turn near Tandu Allahyar and overturned, injuring 11 schoolchildren and two teachers.
At least 24 students, aged between 11 to 17 years, and two teachers were in the van at the time of the accident.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot after the accident and shifted the injured to Civil Hospital where they were treated and allowed to go home.
