COAS calls on interim PM, discusses country's security situation

General Qamar Javed Bajwa ensured the PM of his full support for holding peaceful elections

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday called on interim Prime Minister Justice (r) Nasirul Mulk at the PM Office.

During the meeting, matters pertaining to important affairs and country’s security situation came under discussion during the meeting.
The COAS also briefed the interim PM about the situation along the Line of Control (LoC).

The meeting also discussed matter related to forthcoming general elections.

Speaking on the occasion, Justice (r) Nasirul Mulk said that arrangements were being made to hold free, fair and transparent elections.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa also ensured the PM of his full support for holding peacefull general elections.
