Alleged police firing kills man in Karachi
DIG East took notice of the incident and summoned a report
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Alleged firing of Karachi police on Saturday gunned down a man when he was riding on his motorcycle with his wife and children.
As per the details, the alleged firing incident took place in Karachi’s Abu al-Hassan Isfahani Road near Baksh Ali Goth by the police personnel when the deceased was riding his motorcycle along with his wife and children.
According to police officials, the police personnel who opened firing has been traced but the investigation was underway regarding on whose orders cops had opened firing.
On the other hand, DIG East took notice of the incident and summoned a report from the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).
According to Dunya News sources, the cop who opened firing was part of SP Headquarters East’s squad and the incident occurred in an exchange of fire between the accused and police personnel.
Sources said that the five personnel of the squad have been arrested.
