MANDI BAHAUDDIN (Dunya News) – Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif on Friday said that now peoples’ right to govern will be restored.
Addressing public gathering in Mandi Bahauddin on Friday, he said that he would continue struggle for sanctity of vote, adding that next 70 years would be different from the previous ones.
“I am not fighting for myself, but for the next generations,” he said and added he is facing trail for the sake of masses.
The PML-N supremo said that he was disqualified from premiership and PML-N presidentship and he appeared before the court for 92 times for not taking salary from his son.
“This Supreme Court’s verdict would be overturned after July 25,” he claimed.
Sharif went on to say that he would not allow anyone to rig the upcoming general elections.
The former premier said that whatever promise he makes, fulfills it, adding, "The one who put an end to load-shedding and terrorism is attending hearings."
