Law enforcement agencies fail to maintain law & order: Dr Farooq

Dr. Farooq Sattar said that law enforcement agencies had failed to control the Karachi violence.

Talking to the media in Karachi on Sunday, Muttahida Quami Movement Deputy Convener Dr. Farooq Sattar said that law enforcement agencies had failed to maintain the law and order in the province. He urged the government to arrest all the culprits who were involved in the killing of MQM workers. He said that MQM workers were scarifying for democratic system in the country adding that the tolerance policy adopted by MQM should not be considered as a weakness. He said that all those who were assisting the terrorists should be brought to justice. He maintained that President Asif Ali Zardari had assured a strict action against criminals but he did not fulfill his promise and the situation was being worsened day by day. He said that the government had failed to maintain law and order, therefore, the nation should take measures for their protection.
