Probe against Aviation Division spokesperson Shair Ali Khan after finding audit objections
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan International Airport (PIA) authorities and Aviation Division on Monday has directed chief finance officer to submit records regarding embezzlement of finances for giving presents to journalists.
According to details, relevant authorities have initiated investigation against the spokesperson of Aviation Division Shair Ali Khan after finding audit objections.
The sources reported that PIA and Aviation Division authorities also have decided to initiate probe on institutional level against other officers involved in financial embezzlement.
Earlier, the commercial audit department declared all the submitted bills as fake and demanded investigation against Shair Ali Khan.
The audit documents revealed that Shair Ali Khan received finances from national treasury, showing fake bills of gifts given to journalists.
