PM Abbasi to preside over ECC meeting today

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will preside over the meeting of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) today (Thursday).
The meeting will focus upon seven points including tax exemption to Gwadar Free Economic Zone.
A seven-point agenda has been issued by the ECC which comprises declaration of tax free Gwadar Free Economic Zone, provision of space to private LNG companies at Port Qasim, approval of gas provision to Pak Arab fertilizers from Mari petroleum company and sanctioning new prices of natural gas.
As per Ogra recommendations, there is likelihood that ECC will authorize the gas loss recovery. A summary of the phase-wise losses recovery of gas companies will be presented in the meeting.
