PM pledged to not sit silent until the elimination of terrorism from the country.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Thursday has said that the whole nation is united against coward enemies.

In a statement, PM pledged to not sit silent until the elimination of terrorism from the country. He also paid tribute to Army officer Colonel Sohail Abid who embraced martyrdom in an exchange of fire in Killi Almas area in Balochistan.

He said our soldiers have paid the price of freedom with blood and there is no higher sacrifice than it.

Talking on the ongoing political situation, the premier said that the country s future lies in continuity of democracy and rule of law. He said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will win the next elections by dint of its performance and service to the people.

Earlier on Wednesday night, at least three terrorists were killed while an Army officer Colonel Sohail Abib embraced martyrdom in during an operation in Balochistan province.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Killi Almas, Balochistan, on the pointation from an under custody terrorist about presence of suicide bombers along with other terrorists in hideouts in the area.

The ISPR further informed that two suicide bombers along with a high value target (HVT) Salman Badeni, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) head of Balochistan, were killed in the operation. Salman Badeni was involved in killings of over 100 innocent personnel of Hazara community and police.
