Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar starts today
The 766th Urs celebrations of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar will begin today in Sehwan Sharif.
SEHWAN SHARIF (Dunya News) – Three-day celebrations in connection with the 766th annual Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar will begin in Sehwan Sharif today (Saturday).
Thousands of devotees from across the country have started to arrive at the shrine for the celebrations. Strict security arrangements have been made in this regard. At least 4500 police personnel and 300 Rangers officials have been deployed on duty whereas walk-through gates have been installed at all the entry points of the shrine.
Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair and Adviser to the Chief Minister Sindh on Auqaf and Religious Affairs Syed Ghulam Shah Jilani will inaugurate the three-day Urs celebration by laying chador on the grave.
