(Dunya News) – Once plagued by crime and terrorism, Karachi’s troubled area of Manghopir is gradually returning to normal life with Rangers not only playing a pivotal role in bringing peace to the locality but also in the provision of basic health facilities.

As part of these efforts, Sindh Rangers set up a medical camp in Manghopir where hundreds of locals made their way to benefit from medical facilities.

Doctors who were part of the camp thanked the Rangers for their support in bringing peace to the area saying that through their efforts they were now able to work during the nights in Manghopir, a locality where it was unsafe for them to work even during the day.

The medical camp offered medicines, blood tests, x-rays, ultrasounds and other lab tests and facilities free of cost to the residents of the locality.

Gynaecologists were also present at the camp to cater to female patients. In order to ensure mental health, clinical psychologists also tended to locals.
