Zardari also directs handing over management of four closed gas fields to Sindh government

President Asif Ali Zardari has directed the authorities concerned to spend all the money collected from agricultural tax in Sindh for the progress of education.Chairing a meeting in Bilawal House, Karachi, the president said that the government would ensure the provision of a standard education system. The Sindh chief minister told the president that education activities were started in alternative buildings in flood-hit areas. The president was informed that 20 percent schools didn’t have buildings in Sindh while 40 percent schools had only one room.The president ordered the authorities to take immediate steps for improved education system. He directed the OGDCL officials to hand over management of four closed gas fields to the Sindh government. He also directed them to equally distribute the gas obtained from Sindh gas fields among all provinces.
