Hearing of Avenfield reference against Sharif family to resume today
Defense lawyer Khawaja Harris will continue cross examination of JIT head in todays proceedings.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Capt (r) Safdar will once again appear before accountability court in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) reference regarding Avenfield Properties against Sharif family today (Monday).
In the hearing headed by Justice Mohammad Bashir, Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Khawaja Harris will continue cross-examination of head of Panama Joint Investigation Team (JIT) Wajid Zia.
After the completion of cross-examination by Khawaja Harris, Maryam Nawaz’s lawyer Amjad Pervaiz will start cross-examining Wajid Zia.
During the previous appearance of Sharif family in the accountability court, the hearing of the case was adjourned till Monday without any proceeding due to illness of Justice Mohammad Bashir.
Meanwhile, Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz reached Murree on Sunday to appear in the accountability court today.
