Karachi: Dacoits loot MQM-P lawmaker Faisal Rafiq
MPA Faisal Rafiq has filed a case against unidentified dacoits at the Sharifabad Police Station.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan MPA from Sindh Assembly, Faisal Rafiq, was looted by armed dacoits in the jurisdiction to Sharifabad Police Station in Karachi on Wednesday night, Dunya News reported.
According to Faisal Rafiq, he went to his cousin’s house in Sharifabad area to visit him. As soon as he reached their and stopped his car, two armed dacoits riding on motorcycle approached him and snatched his mobile and cash. The dacoits managed to escape from the scene after looting him.
Faisal Rafiq has lodged a case against unidentified dacoits at the Sharifabad Police Station.
On the other hand, an online taxi service captain Qamar Shah was tortured and wounded by a resident near Gulshan Iqbal NIPA Chowrangi area for canceling booking.
Police and rescue teams shifted the injured driver to hospital. Police sources said that the accused involved in the case has been arrested.
