Sindh govt extends Rangers' policing powers in Karachi for 90 days

KARACHI (Dunya News)- Sindh Chief Minsiter Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday has approved notification to extend Pakistan Rangers’ special powers in Karachi for 90 days.

A summary in this regard—forwarded by Sindh Home Ministry—has been approved by Shah. He extolled efforts of rangers to restore peace in metropolis and linked country’s peace with Karachi.

It is pertinent here to mention that Rangers’ special powers were going to expire on Jan-10.
