Pakistan FO told that Indian spy Jadhav was allowed to meet mother, wife as humanitarian gesture

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Indian media wrongly credited their Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the meeting between convicted RAW spy Kulbhushan Jadhav and his family, contrary to the clarification of Pakistan Foreign Office (FO) that the meeting was held on humanitarian grounds.

The neighbouring country has not let any stone unturned to promote hatred amongst the citizens of both countries by highlighting the negative side of Jadhav’s meeting with his wife and mother. The credit was also given to Indian PM Modi who, in fact, played no role in the development.

The Indian media also complained why there was a glass shield between the terrorist commander and his family. They pointed out that Pakistan is only backing the meeting to make its case strong.

Before FO released pictures of the meeting, the media in the arch-rival state expressed concerns on why Jadhav is not shown during the meeting with wife and mother. The negative propaganda sponsored by the Indian state is an act to sabotage the humanitarian effort, experts opined.

The meeting of the Indian spy with wife Chetankul and mother Avanti has on Monday concluded at the Pakistan Foreign Office and lasted for around 40 minutes. Jadhav and his family thanked the Foreign Office for arranging the meeting.

The foreign office noted that terrorist Jadhav is the face of Indian terrorism in Pakistan.
