Islamabad: International Meena Bazaar showcases global cultural diversity

(Dunya News) – Bursting with the colours of cultural diversity from around the globe, an International Meena Bazaar was organised in the Federal Capital.

Held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, more than 20 ambassadors participated in the festival with their families. Featuring traditional arts and crafts from different countries, the festival also offered food items from around the world.

Countries including Bangladesh, Tajikistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka set up their stalls at the annual Meena Bazaar, which was inaugurated by Mehmooda Mamnoon, the wife of President Mamnoon Hussain.

According to the visitors, the cultural festival was a good way to learn about the cultures and traditions of different countries.
