Quaid-e-Azam's statue unveiled in London

Pakistan's founding father Quaid-e-Azam's statue will soon grace Britain's Lincoln's Inn.

LONDON (Dunya News) - Pakistan’s founding father Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s statue was unveiled on Tuesday in a ceremony organized by Pakistan High Commission in London, Dunya News reported.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan, Pakistani High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Syed Ibn Abbas and sculptor Philip Jackson unveiled Quaid’s statue in the ceremony several dignitaries.

Pakistan and United Kingdom national anthems were also played on the occasion.

London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan in his address on the occasion paid rich tributes to Quaid-e-Azam and declared him a great leader. He said that said that Muhammad Ali Jinnah was not only the hero of Pakistanis but the people of other nations also declare him a great leader.

Speaking on the occasion, Pakistani High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Syed Ibn Abbas said that Quaid’s statue will soon grace Britain’s Lincoln’s Inn.
